Cancellation Policy.
Fair Winds is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation less a $35.00 processing fee per cabin.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 10 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can re-book your cabin, a full or partial refund will be made.
If a credit card refund is given, there will be a $35.00 processing fee subtracted from the refunded amount.
Pets and Smoking Policies.
If any of the following occur during your stay, additional charges will be incurred.
• Damage is done to the cabin or its contents.
• Linens or household items are missing.
• House has been smoked in.
• Evidence is found of pets on bedding or furniture.
Pets are welcome at Fair Winds. Pets are permitted inside Hunter’s Run, Meadow, and the Lodge. However, they are not allowed inside the following cabins: Jude’s Dream, Long X (formerly Birdsong), and Wildflower. There is a $25 charge per pet per stay. Pets may be crated on the porch for no additional charge as long as they stay out of the cabins. Pets are not allowed on beds or furnishings. Please respect other guests’ privacy in regards to your pets. Do not leave pets unattended in cabin or on property unless crated. Pets must be treated with Frontline Plus, Advantage or a similar flea and tick product prior to your arrival.
Fair Winds cabins are smoke free. Guests are permitted to smoke outdoors on porches and decks, but not inside. Please dispose of butts properly in provided ashtrays or outdoor waste receptacles.
Children are allowed in all cabins except Jude’s Dream.
